 High quality education enables children to develop into responsible, confident adults. In Uganda, unfortunately, the chances of this actually happening are rather limited. There aren't enough schools, education is expensive, teachers are few, teaching aids are scarce and teaching is generally poor. Young people's creativity is being limited, practical skills are neglected, and kids learn too little about their culture and the world they live in. Want to join hands with Edirisa and do something about it? You can come as a volunteer to help with Smiles programs, or you can become a Smiles sponsor.
