Overview of the Film

Our documentary The Bakiga: How we throw away our African culture (2006, 29 minutes) is a story about Festo Karwemera and his tribe. It is a critical assessment of how much remains of the traditional culture and a protest against the Bakiga's imitation of their former colonial masters.

The film was described by Sunday Vision as "one of the very best" and "a brilliant stroke", while The Weekly Observer called it "an engaging journey".

You can read more about the making of The Bakiga, see its story through 29 images or get your own copy of The Bakiga.

,I love the print but I was afraid of getting it dirty since I just toss my wallet in my bag and patent leather is pretty vulnerable to permanent stains. I ended up getting the leopard insolite and I love it! I'd say go for it if you love it! lv bags.
