We have arranged The Home of Edirisa in Kabale Town (southwestern Uganda) around a unique cultural museum. The museum was established by Festo Karwemera, a respected elder of the Bakiga tribe. Since our take-over in 2003 we have added a hostel, a remarkable craft gallery and a cosy restaurant with a lounge bar. Finally, in April 2010, as a partnership between Riza Group and Studio Edirisa, we opened the Kabale Arts Centre. The Home is Edirisa's place for orienting volunteers and the office of Edirisa Smiles CBO. The Home of Edirisa is open every day from 9am to 11pm. It lies opposite Hot Loaf Bakery/Little Ritz Restaurant. Bookings on +256 75 2558 222 and home@edirisa.org.
