![]() Lake Bunyonyi, "the place of many little birds", was formed 10,000 years ago when a river was dammed by lava and slowly made a water body 25km long and 7km wide, the biggest in southwestern Uganda. Since 2005 Edirisa has developed a variety of Bunyonyi activities: ![]() 5-hour Culture on the Crest (from USD 40) leads you to the peaks of Kyabahinga for superb views, a nursery, an herbalist, a Rasta investor and a craftmaker. 1-day Islands of Miracles (from USD 90) adds visits to three special islands to Culture on the Crest. ![]() 3-day Mother of All Treks (from USD 230) adds Tom's Homestay and a morning with a craftmaker to 2-day Canoe Trek.
