![]() Studio Edirisa is the multimedia team of Edirisa, a society for promoting Africa, creativity, cultures and practical skills. We are based in Uganda, at The Soul in Nkozi (80km from Kampala) and made of local freelancers, international volunteers and students from Uganda Martyrs University. ![]() Studio Edirisa's current project is an iPad multitouch book about the southwest of Uganda. We are also finalising Bafwaki? Batwa, Bakiga & Katuregye an acted film/documentary about the Batwa "Pygmies" complex relationship with the Bakiga, the main ethnic group of the southwest of Uganda. This is in some ways a continuation of our previous documentary The Bakiga - How We Throw Away Our African Culture. In 2011 we also published Creative Guides, a useful pack for African teachers (a video, a booklet, a workbook) We prepare a local Facebook medium Swag in Nkozi, make brochures (download Lake Bunyonyi & Kabale In Your Pocket), produce videos and do many other things.
