Overview of Treks to Gorilla National Parks

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a lush rainforest and an island of biodiversity. It protects 28 species of amphibians and 28 reptiles, at least 200 butterfly species, 350 birds and 120 mammal species, among them gorillas, chimps and elephants. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park rises up to 4,127 metres, resulting in exceptional natural variety. Under three volcanoes one can find two endangered species: mountain gorillas and golden monkeys.

Since 2012 Edirisa has been connecting the two parks with other prime attractions of southwestern Uganda. This is the Gorilla Highlands Trails, a regional system of guided treks:

2-day Valley of No Living (from USD 190) may well be the most pleasant multi-day trip, taking you between Lake Bunyonyi and Rushaga (Bwindi) through the remotest, least spoiled areas.

3-day Three Upland Lakes (from USD 250) shows you Lakes Bunyonyi, Kayumbu and Mutanda. It includes an herbalist, a craftmaker, a night at Tom's Homestay and a crossing of Echuya Forest.

3-day Volcano Quest (from USD 250) is similar but goes directly towards Mgahinga after Lake Kayumbu.

3-day Parks Reunited (from USD 250) connects Mgahinga and Bwindi across Lake Mutanda.

5-day Rainforest Ramble (from USD 420) starts with Three Upland Lakes and adds Bwindi for a full experience.

7-day Ultimate Hike (from USD 550) combines Volcano Quest, a day (or more) in Mgahinga and Parks Reunited.

Accommodation is tented (upgrades available) and food is a mixture of traditional meals, fruits, picnic luxury and restaurant cuisine — details on the trip advice page. To find trip companions consult our list of upcoming treks. Our prices are all-inclusive.

heree! lv bags

,I love the print but I was afraid of getting it dirty since I just toss my wallet in my bag and patent leather is pretty vulnerable to permanent stains. I ended up getting the leopard insolite and I love it! I'd say go for it if you love it! lv bags.
